Kevin Harrington, an investor, entrepreneur, and shark on Shark Tank partnered with the Ziglar corporation to create a masterclass based on his mentor, Zig Ziglar’s book Secrets of Closing the Sale. Harrington credits his business and investor success to what he learned from Zig Ziglar, and wanted to partner with their company to create a never-before-seen online course.

 

The Challenge

Creating a 20+ hour online course and releasing it to the public

One of the greatest sales pioneers and business coaches of all time, Zig Ziglar, created so many valuable insights over the years. Kevin Harrington wanted to bring Zig Ziglar’s content and his own content to the digital world in a new never-before-seen online masterclass. The challenge was to take the information presented in The Secrets of Closing the Sale book, combine it with the knowledge of Kevin and other successful salespeople, and present it in a way that was easy to understand, accessible, and interactive for course participants. Another challenge was to then promote the course effectively to millions of people all around the world. 

 

The Solution

Creating all of the content, filming everything, and creating a learning management system with an effective launch plan

Catalyst Brand Group, in collaboration with Bill Blankschaen from Storybuilders, extensively interviewed Kevin Harrington in addition to combing through content from the Ziglar corporation having access to their content from 50+ years. Our team was able to take out necessary information from the book, the Ziglar content, Kevin Harrington’s content, and build the framework for a 20+ hour masterclass including video content, downloadable resources, creating a sales funnel, and also creating all of the promotional and launch material. All of the content and resources were then complied into the learning management system and we worked with one of the best affiliate marketing managers in the world to promote the online course.

 

The Results

The masterclass was able to do 2 million+ in sales during the launches that occurred. Thousands of people enrolled in the online course and received tremendous value from all of the insights included in the course. We were able to work with some of the largest digital experts in the world to help promote the course as affiliates to their audiences. The online course was one of the most successful online course launches of 2018 which allowed Kevin Harrington to become an expert in using sales content to serve other people.
